TAMARA LEWIS married high-school sweetheart Cliffy Flekser (University of the Witwatersrand ’05) on June 25th in Johannesburg, South Africa. The traditional Jewish ceremony took place at the Sandton Shul followed by dinner and dancing at the Sandton Convention Centre. Tigers in attendance were HILLARY WEBB, STUART CAMPO, ISABEL WILKINSON, SELENA KALVARIA, MONIKA KRACH and NINA CRONAN. These classmates were also able to enjoy many of South Africa’s treasures during their trip. The newlyweds will move to Boston in October, and TAMARA will continue working at Bain & Company as a second-year associate.
JESSICA LUCAS and DEREK YECIES also tied the knot over the summer. They celebrated their marriage with family and friends in the Hudson Valley in New York in July. DEREK says that their “relationship was catalyzed in Organic Chemistry class. Lock and key or induced fit? You decide.”They currently live in Boston, where DEREK recently began his first year of medical school at Boston University School of Medicine and JESSICA is in her second year of a Ph.D program in biology at Harvard.
Yay for the happy couples and their beautiful pictures! Keep sending me your updates.
