PAW Column - October 21 - Partying in Reno, Fencing in Budapest, and Coaching in the Bulldog den

MAURICE HABIF decided he just couldn't get enough of the classroom, so he went back to school for his MBA. He is currently living in Philadelphia as a 1st year student in the Wharton MBA program, along with many other Princeton alums. He was recently part of an epic gathering in Reno, NV to celebrate the bachelor party of Cyrus
Whitney '04. Pictured in this photo are classmates STEPHEN TAVARES, MAURICE, JACOB STRAUSS and ROBERT GATI.
TOMMI HURME is living in an apartment in downtown Budapest, Hungary in an up and coming but still industrial neighborhood. He plans on staying in Budapest until reunions and his brother’s graduation from Princeton this spring! He is taking Hungarian lessons three times a week, working as an intern at the UN High Commission for Refugees, and training fencing daily. His first tournament is in Oslo, Norway in November, and he will be fencing in Pittsburgh, PA in early December if anyone wants to check it out.
BRYANT BLOUNT said he couldn't stand the prospect of being a washed-up athlete in the real world, so he stayed in the field of sports. He is now entering his second year in Yale's Athletic Department in New Haven, CT, where he tries to provide the same great experience for student Athletes he was fortunate to enjoy as part of Princeton’s Men’s Track and Field team. He said he would appreciate any suggestions for avoiding the question, “so who are you rooting for?” as he’s begun to run out of clever non-answers. Bryant – good luck at Homecoming this weekend in the Bulldog’s den.
