Reflections on the Election - How We Experienced History

November 4th, 2008 is a day that I will never forget. It marks both the culmination and the start of a new democratic movement in the U.S. Young voters and minority voters showed up to the polls yesterday in record-breaking numbers. People felt involved in the election, devoted to the promise that we, together, will change America for the better.

As the results rolled in from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., our classmates were glued to their T.V. or computer screens across the country and world, or perhaps celebrating at a Boston bar, in Times Square or even at Grant Park in Chicago. How did you experience election night? Write a post so we can see the election through your eyes.
